68E+WThe Town and Country Planning Act 1990 is amended as follows.

69E+WIn section 252 (procedures for highways orders) in the definition of “local authority” in subsection (12) after “a combined authority established under section 103 of that Act,” insert “ a fire and rescue authority created by an order under section 4A of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004, ”.

70E+WIn Schedule 14 (procedure for footpaths and bridleway orders) in paragraph 1(3) (meaning of “council”) for “or a combined authority established under section 103 of that Act” substitute “ , a combined authority established under section 103 of that Act or a fire and rescue authority created by an order under section 4A of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 ”.
