49Duties of Police Federation for England and Wales in fulfilling its purpose

In section 59 of the Police Act 1996 (Police Federations), after subsection (1) insert—
“(1A)In fulfilling that purpose, the Police Federation for England and Wales must—
(a)protect the public interest,
(b)maintain high standards of conduct, and
(c)maintain high standards of transparency.”
