The provisions of the Third Schedule to this Act shall apply to a compulsory purchase order for the purpose of rendering it effectual and of modifying the Land Compensation Act, 1961, in relation to the assessment of compensation payable in consequence of the purchase, by virtue of such an order, of any land.

5

A compulsory purchase order shall be subject to special parliamentary procedure.

6

In the application of this section to Scotland, for the reference to the Land Compensation Act, 1961, there shall be substituted a reference to the Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act, 1919, as amended by the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Acts, 1947 to 1959.
