In section ninety-three of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947, as set out in section fifty of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1954, in paragraph (a) of subsection (1) after the word acquisition there shall be inserted the words for war-damage redevelopment, and after the word acquired there shall be inserted the words for such redevelopment, in paragraph (b) after the word compensation where it first occurs there shall be inserted the words in respect of land of the National Coal Board to which the Fifth Schedule to this Act applies by virtue of regulations under section ninety of this Act, being compensation payable, and for the words from the first twenty-four to the end of the paragraph there shall be substituted the words twenty-five or twenty-six of this Act in respect of such land of the National Coal Board as aforesaid, . . . F2, and at the end of the subsection there shall be inserted — “ In this section war-damage redevelopment means the redevelopment as a whole of an area of extensive war damage, and includes the relocation of population or industry or the replacement of open space, in the course of such redevelopment ”, . . .
