1. These Regulations re-enact, with revisions and extensions, the provisions of the Motor Vehicle (Tests) Regulations 1976. The 1976 regulations are repealed, together with the other amending regulations mentioned in Schedule 4 to these regulations.

SCHEDULE 1SIGN TO BE DISPLAYED BY AUTHORISED EXAMINERS (see Regulation 9)
PART IIConditions as to Erection of Sign shown in Part I of this Schedule

The sign shall be securely fixed against a wall of the vehicle testing station.

The sign shall be so exhibited that no part thereof is above the fascia level of the vehicle testing station or above fifteen feet from the ground, whichever is the lower.
3
Not more than one sign shall be displayed on each road frontage.
