13.  Nothwithstanding the repeal of the words from “or in” to “1981” in paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 46 of the Friendly Societies Act 1974 and in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section 39 of the Friendly Societies Act (Northern Ireland) 1970, any funds which are pursuant to either of those subsection invested on the vesting day in a trustee savings bank may continue after the vesting day to be invested with the successor bank.
