SAVINGS BANKS

This Order appoints 21st July 1986 as the date for the repeal of those provisions of the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1981 which are set out in Schedule 1 to the Order, subject to the transitional and savings provisions which are contained in Articles 3 to 13 of the Order. The Order also appoints 21st July 1986 as the date for the repeal of those other enactments specified in Schedule 4 to the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1985 which have not already been repealed and which are set out in Schedule 2 to the Order.
