3.  The Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1969(1) shall have effect, in section 26 (Building control)—

(a)with the omission of “and any byelaws made thereunder” from subsection (1); and

(b)with the substitution of “the Building Regulations 1985” for “any such byelaws as aforesaid” in subsection (2)(b).
