Permitted development
A. Any development not above ground level on behalf of a water authority required in connection with the provision, improvement, maintenance or repair of a sewer, outfall pipe or sludge main or associated apparatus.
Interpretation of Class A
A.1 For the purposes of Class A “water authority” includes a development corporation authorised under section 34 of the New Town Act 1981(1) to exercise powers relating to sewerage or sewage disposal.
