The Washington Development Corporation (Transfer of Property and Dissolution) Order 1988

The Secretary of State for the Environment, having consulted the Council of the district in which the new town of Washington is situated, and being satisfied that the purposes for which the Washington Development Corporation is established under the New Towns Act 19811 have been substantially achieved, in exercise of powers conferred on him by section 41 of and paragraphs 2(1) and 3(4) of Schedule 10 to that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Order—
