For the purpose of connecting the motorway with access roads to be constructed to the service area, the Secretary of State is authorised to provide along the routes described in the schedule special roads for the use of traffic of Classes I and II of the classes of traffic set out in Schedule 4 to the Highways Act 1980.

The centre line of each of the special roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.

The special roads shall become trunk roads on the date when this Scheme comes into force.

In this Scheme:–
| means the M5 Birmingham-Exeter Motorway, |
| means the plan folio numbered HA16/1WM/4 marked “The M5 Birmingham-Exeter Motorway (Strensham Re-located Northbound Service Area), Connecting Roads Scheme 1991”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY; |
| means the special roads which the Secretary of State is authorised by this scheme to provide; |
| means the proposed northbound motorway service area to be constructed on land adjacent to “The Brakes” woodland in the Districts of Malvern Hills and Wychavon. |

This Scheme shall come into force on 15th February 1991 and may be cited as the M5 Birmingham-Exeter Motorway (Strensham Re-Located Northbound Service Area) Connecting Roads Scheme 1991.

SCHEDULETHE ROUTES OF THE SPECIAL ROADS
Junction of the motorway with access roads to be constructed and the Service Area, north west of Lower Strensham in the County of Hereford and Worcester.
Two routes to be entrance and exit routes to connect the north bound carriageway of the motorway with the roads leading to the Service Area, These special roads are respectively given the reference letters A and B on the deposited plan.
