The Solicitors' Incorporated Practices Order 1991

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

Section 9 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 empowers the Council of the Law Society (with the concurrence of the Master of the Rolls) to make rules to regulate the formation of bodies corporate (referred to as “recognised bodies”) for the purpose of providing legal services. This Order provides for certain enactments passed or made before the commencement of section 9 which have effect in relation to solicitors to apply to recognised bodies, in some cases with amendments. £0.00 net
