The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 464(3) of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975(1) and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975 (Commencement No.1) Order 1991.
2. Sections 23 and 329 of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975 shall come into force on 6th January 1992.

This Order brings into force on 6th January 1992 sections 23 and 329 of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975, which make provisions (for, respectively, solemn and summary procedure) concerning the remand and committal of persons under 21.
