Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of establishments and facilities formerly managed by Mid Essex Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the Essex Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust2, having consulted that Health Authority and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Essex Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1992.

In this Order:

  • “the Authority” means Mid Essex Health Authority;

  • “the Trust” means the Essex Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust;

  • “the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Authority and the Trust on 24th August 1992, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Authority and the Trust.

Transfer of trust Property2

On 2nd December the trust property shall be transferred from the Authority to the Trust.
