SCHEDULE 9PUBLIC HEALTH CONTROL AND MONITORING OF PRODUCTION

The Ministers shall undertake, or may require food authorities to undertake on their behalf, the periodic monitoring of bivalve mollusc relaying and production areas to determine—
a
whether toxin producing plankton are present in production and relaying waters or biotoxins are present in live bivalve molluscs; and
b
whether chemical contaminants are present.
