LEGAL AID AND ADVICE, ENGLAND AND WALES

These Regulations amend the Legal Aid in Family Proceedings (Remuneration) Regulations 1991 to add certain proceedings under the Child Support Act 1991 to those which are remunerated in accordance with Schedule 2 to those Regulations where the client is legally aided. The proceedings are:appeals under section 20 of the Act from the decision of a child support officer about parentage (where such appeals are heard by a court rather than a child support appeal tribunal);references under section 27 of the Act to a court for a declaration of parentage.
