5.—(1) It shall be the duty of the head teacher to make arrangements for each pupil to be assessed in each relevant subject in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (2) of this article.
(2) NC tests shall be administered to the pupil and marked in accordance with the provisions of the document in which they are published at the time specified in the relevant NC tests timetable and the results of the tests recorded as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.
(3) Where a pupil misses an NC test, either through authorised or unauthorised absence, pursuant to the Pupils' Registration Regulations 1956(1), no NC test level may be awarded for that subject.
