The Secretary of State in exercise of powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721, being designated for the purpose of section 2(2) of that Act in respect of matters relating to the equal treatment of men and women in relation to severe disablement allowance2, hereby makes the following Regulations:
