The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under sections 17 and 26 of the Local Government Act 1992(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order, which gives effect, with modifications, to recommendations submitted to him on 25th April 1993 pursuant to section 15 of that Act by the Local Government Commission, following the Commission’s review of the county of Isle of Wight:
