The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 68(4) and (5) of the Coal Industry Act 1994(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Coal Industry Act 1994 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1994.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Coal Industry Act 1994.
2. The provisions of the Act specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in the second column thereof) shall come into force on 19th September 1994.
