ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
This Order varies section 153 1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to enable the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Treasury, to give financial assistance to or for the purposes of:national or international architectural award schemes or competition schemes relating to the protection, improvement or better understanding of the environment; andthe National Forest Company, whose main objects are to promote and implement the National Forest strategy for the creation of the National Forest in the Midlands area of England and related matters.
