2. In section 177 of the 1972 Act (provisions supplementary to sections 173 to 176) paragraph (b) of subsection (1) M1 shall have effect as if a National Park authority were a body specified in section 21(1) of the 1989 Act as referred to in paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 177.
