In the right-hand column of Schedule 1 to the 1996 Act (police areas) opposite the name of the West Mercia police area—
a
the words “Hereford and Worcester and” shall be omitted, and
b
after the word “Shropshire” there shall be inserted “and Worcestershire and the non-metropolitan districts of Herefordshire and The Wrekin”.
