This Order abolishes on 1st April 1999, the Welsh Health Common Services Authority which is a special health authority constituted by the Welsh Health Common Services Authority Constitution Order 1990.
The Order makes provision for the transfer of property, rights, liabilities and officers from the special health authority to the Secretary of State for Wales and Welsh NHS trusts and health authorities. It also makes further provision consequential on the abolition of the special health authority.
