Requirements to be met by annuities
20. Subject to regulation 19, the prescribed requirements referred to in section 101F(2)(b) of the 1993 Act (cash equivalent to be used for purchasing annuities) are those specified in regulation 15(2) to (7) of the Pension Sharing (Implementation and Discharge of Liability) Regulations 2000(1) (disqualification as a destination for pension credit—annuity contracts and insurance policies).
