This Order provides that section 1 of the Northern Ireland Act 2000 is to cease to have effect on 30th May 2000. Section 1, which came into force on 12th February 2000, provides for the suspension of devolved government in Northern Ireland. The effect of the Order is to restore devolved government in Northern Ireland on 30th May 2000.

Section 1 of the Northern Ireland Act 2000 shall cease to have effect on 30th May 2000.
