EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS, SCOTLAND

These Regulations re-enact the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1993 (the “1993 Regulations”) with amendments. In addition to minor and drafting amendments, re-numbering and the updating of statutory and other references, these Regulations make the following changes of substance.

Establishment of employment tribunals4

The President shall from time to time determine the number of tribunals to be established in Scotland for the purposes of determining proceedings.

The President or, in relation to the area specified in relation to him, a Regional Chairman shall determine at what times and in what places in Scotland tribunals shall sit.
