5. The functions of the Secretary of State under section 29(4) of and paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 to the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Act 1996(1) are hereby transferred to the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions and the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, acting jointly.
6.—(1) The function of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions under section 7(6) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(2) is hereby transferred to the Secretary of State.
(2) The function of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions under section 35(3)(a) of the Land Drainage Act 1991(3) is hereby transferred to the Secretary of State.
