1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland Assembly (Elections) Order 2001.
(2) This Order shall come into force on the fourteenth day after the day on which it was made.
(3) The New Northern Ireland Assembly (Elections) Order 1998(1) is hereby revoked.
S.I. 1998/1287; that Order has effect as if made under sections 34(4) and 35 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 by virtue of paragraphs 10 and 11 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
