These Regulations, which come into force on 1st September 2001, further amend the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) Regulations 2000 (“the principal Regulations”).

The provision for dependants' grant at regulations 7(1)(g) and 8(1)(b) of the principal Regulations applies without the amendments made by the Student Support Regulations 2001, save for an uprating of the figures (regulations 3(b), 4(d), 5 and 8). The reference in regulation 10(1) of the principal Regulations to regulation 22 of the Student Support Regulations is updated (regulation 7).
