(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations, which come into force on 1st September 2001, further amend the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) Regulations 2000 (“the principal Regulations”).
A typographical error in the principal Regulations is corrected and there is an uprating of grants (regulations 3(a), 4, 5 and 6). The provision for dependants' grant at regulations 7(1)(g) and 8(1)(b) of the principal Regulations applies without the amendments made by the Student Support Regulations 2001, save for an uprating of the figures (regulations 3(b), 4(d), 5 and 8). The reference in regulation 10(1) of the principal Regulations to regulation 22 of the Student Support Regulations is updated (regulation 7).
1998 c. 30; section 22 was amended by the Learning and Skills Act 2000 (c. 21), section 146.
