JUSTICES OF THE PEACE, ENGLAND AND WALES

This Order substitutes a new list for the list of commission areas in the Justices of the Peace (Commission Areas) Order 1999. The new list substituted by this Order takes account of changes to magistrates' courts committee areas effected by Orders that establish on 1st April 2001 the following magistrates' courts committees:Greater Manchester (the magistrates' courts committees for Manchester, North and West Greater Manchester, Oldham, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford are abolished);South Yorkshire (the magistrates' courts committees for Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield are abolished);Sussex (the magistrates' courts committees for East Sussex and West Sussex are abolished); andWest Mercia (the magistrates' courts committees for Hereford and Worcester and Shropshire are abolished).
