Sections 32, 34, 35, 36 and 37 were amended by section 125 of, and Schedule 8 to, the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (c. 41), inter alia, so as to apply to clandestine entrants who arrive in the United Kingdom concealed in a rail freight wagon. Those sections have not yet been brought into force as regards clandestine entrants who arrive in the United Kingdom concealed in a ship or aircraft.
