The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, being the Minister of the Crown designated by the Treasury as having responsibility for the National Ports Council Pension Scheme, a public service pension scheme within the meaning given by section 124(1) of the Pensions Act 19951, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 72 and 174 of that Act, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
