The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 8(2) of the Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003 (1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003 (Commencement) Order 2004.
2. The Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003 shall come into force on 3rd March 2004.
