Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 2004.

This Order shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made except that, in relation to article 2 and Schedule 1 to this Order, this Order shall come into force on 31st December 2004.

In this Order—

  • “the 1999 transfer order” means the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 19992;

  • “the Act” means the Government of Wales Act 1998;

  • “the Assembly” means the National Assembly for Wales.
