The Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Supplement to Part 3 Code of Practice) (Provision and Use of Transport Vehicles) (Appointed Day) Order 2006

In accordance with section 53A(4) of the Disability Discrimination Act 19951 (“the Act”), a draft of the Code of Practice prepared by the Disability Rights Commission entitled “Supplement to Part 3 Code of Practice: Provision and Use of Transport Vehicles” was submitted to and approved by the Secretary of State for Transport and laid by him before both Houses of Parliament on 24th January 2006.

That Code of Practice was issued by the Disability Rights Commission on 11th April 20062 under section 53A(1) of the Act3.
