Section 82 was substituted by paragraph 1 of Schedule 33 to the Finance Act 2003 and subsection (1) was amended by paragraph 5(1) of Schedule 7 to the Finance Act 2004 (c. 12) and articles 3 and 4 of S.I. 2006/3387.
