The Greater London Authority Act 2007 (Commencement No.5) Order 2008

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(7) and (9) of the Greater London Authority Act 20071, makes the following Order.
Citation1
This Order may be cited as the Greater London Authority Act 2007 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2008.
Provision coming into force2
Section 38 of the Greater London Authority Act 2007, in so far as it is not already in force2, comes into force on 24th July 2008.

The Greater London Authority Act 2007 (Commencement No. 1 and Appointed Day) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/3107) also appointed 30th October 2007 for the purposes of section 59(6) of the Act (which provides that sections 12 to 14 have effect in relation to financial years beginning on or after an appointed day).
