Section 1071 of the Companies Act 2006 (document not delivered until received) applies in relation to the delivery of a document to the registrar on or after 1st October 2009, except those delivered under saved provisions of the 1985 Act or 1986 Order.

The provisions of the 1985 Act or 1986 Order continue to apply to documents delivered under that Act or Order (before, on or after that date).
