Transitional provision5
In relation to employment which commenced before 29th February 2008, including employment which continued on or after that date, section 28AA (arrest with warrant)2 and section 28FA(2) (power to search business premises)3 of the Immigration Act 1971 shall continue to have effect in respect of an offence under section 8 of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 (restrictions on employment)4.
