Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 35(1)(a) and 40(4) of the Identity Cards Act 20061, and with the consent of the Treasury, makes the following Regulations.

In accordance with section 35(7)(a) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
