Giving of penalty notice for penalty offence32
An enforcement authority that has reason to believe that a person has committed an offence under regulation 27 (“the relevant offence”) in relation to a contravention or failure to comply with regulation 5, 6, 7(1), (2) or (3), 8(6) or (7), 9(6), 10(4), 11, 12, 20(3), (4), (9) or (10) or 22(2) may give a penalty notice to that person.
