Provision of advice to the Secretary of State and Welsh Ministers7
The Care Quality Commission must provide advice pursuant to a request made under section 54(3) (providing advice or information to the Secretary of State and Welsh Ministers) or 77(4) providing advice or information to the Secretary of State) of the 2003 Act in any case where the request was made to the CHAI before the appointed day but the CHAI had not provided advice in response to that request.
