The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3A and 4 of the Ministry of Defence Police Act 1987(1).
1987 c. 4; section 3A was inserted by section 79(1) of the Police Reform Act 2002 (c. 30) and amended by section 126(2) of, and paragraphs 12 and 14 of Schedule 22 to, the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 (c. 4) and section 6 of the Armed Forces Act 2011 (c. 18); section 4 was substituted by paragraphs 12 and 15 of Schedule 22 to the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.
