Coming into force in accordance with Regulation 1
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections:
5(1A), 159D(1) and (6), 189(1), (4) to (6) and section 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 19921;
9(1), (4) and (6), 10(3) and (6), 10A, 11(1), 12(2), (3), (3A), (3B), (6) and (7)(b), 16(1), 17, 18(1), 21(1) to (3), 22 and 23, 25(3)(b) and (5)(c), 26(6)(c), 28(1), 31(2), 79(1) and (4) to (7) and 84 of, and paragraph 9 of Schedule 2, paragraphs 1, 4 and 9 of Schedule 3 and Schedule 5 to, the Social Security Act 19982.
A draft of this instrument was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 80(1) of the Social Security Act 1998.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that the proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it3.
