4. A function of the Lord Chancellor under these Regulations may be exercised by, or by an employee of, a person authorised for that purpose by the Lord Chancellor(1).
Section 6 (authorisations) of the Act makes provision for authorisations given for the purpose of section 5 (delegation) of the Act or regulations under that section.
