Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Rules of the Air Regulations 2015 and come into force on 30th April 2015.
Rules of the Air2
The Rules of the Air in Schedule 1 have effect and may be cited as the Rules of the Air 2015.
Review3

The Secretary of State must from time to time—
a
carry out a review of the Rules in Schedule 1 to these Regulations;
b
set out the conclusions of the review in a report; and
c
publish the report.

The report must in particular—
a
set out the objectives to be achieved by the Rules;
b
assess the extent to which those objectives have been achieved; and
c
assess whether those objectives remain appropriate and, if so, the extent to which they could be achieved by a system of lesser regulation.

The first report under this regulation must be published before 30th April 2020.
4
Reports under this regulation are to be published at intervals not exceeding five years.
Revocation4
The Regulations listed in Schedule 2 are revoked.
