14. Any British vessel in the Convention Area must, when given the appropriate signal in the International Code of Signals(1) by a vessel carrying a CCAMLR inspector, stop or take other such actions as may be necessary to facilitate the safe and prompt transfer of the CCAMLR inspector and appropriate assistants to the vessel, unless the vessel is actively engaged in fishing operations, in which case it must do so as soon as practicable.
