1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Pesticides (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020.
(2) These Regulations come into force on IP completion day, except as provided in paragraphs (3) and (4).
(3) The following provisions come into force immediately before the coming into force of regulation 3 of the Environment (Miscellaneous Amendments and Revocations) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019(1)—
(a)this regulation; and
(b)in Chapter 1 of Part 3, regulations 4(1) and (2) and 7(1) and (2).
(4) The rest of Chapter 1 of Part 3 comes into force immediately before IP completion day.
S.I. 2019/559. Regulation 1(2) states that regulation 3 comes into force immediately before exit day. By virtue of Schedule 5, paragraph 1(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020 (c. 1) it instead comes into force immediately before IP completion day.
