18. In section 28A(2) of the 1949 Act (power to require evidence of consent to marriages of same sex couples)(1), for paragraph (b) substitute—
“(b)before a marriage schedule is issued.”.
Section 28A was inserted by section 162(1) of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 and was amended by paragraph 15 of Schedule 27 to the Civil Partnership Act 2004, paragraph 7 of Schedule 7 to the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013 and paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 to the Immigration Act 2014.
